- Description
- Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) intends to Sole Source contract to Curtiss-Wright Electro-Mechanical Corporation to provide assessments of High Pressure Air Compressors (HPAC) in support of a CVN 68 class aircraft carrier as part of ship repair and maintenance. PSNS & IMF proposes awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract for the assessments to Curtis-Wright on a sole source basis in accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.106-1(b) under U.S.C 1901 and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c). PSNS & IMF will use Other Than Full and Open Competition. The proposed contract action is Sole Source Only. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No Solicitation or RFQ will be forth coming.� Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 5 PM Pacific Daylight Time, June 22, 2023 via email to christopher.n.franzese.civ@us.navy.mil and CC: robert.j.centeno.civ@us.navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closed dated specified herein will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
