Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE- Furniture, Fixture, Equipment (FF&E) for Joint Base Myer -Henderson Hall, Consolidated/Administration Facility (DFAC), Contract No. TBD This Notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a brand name sole-source acquisition. The statutory authority for this sole-source procurement is 10 United States Code 2304(c)(1) as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Baltimore District (NAB) intends to include the following items in a request for quote for a furnish and install supply acquisition under the authority of FAR 6.302-5(a)(2)(ii), Authorized or required by statute. This project will include Brand Name Only items, as described below, unless the result of this notification indicates otherwise. Only the requiring brand name items will be sole sourced if no sources are able to prove an equal product. Requirements: In general terms, the project includes the furnish and install of food service equipment and supplies to support the renovated JBM-HH Consolidated Dining Facility. Some elements to support the renovation will require a brand name sole-source acquisition and are listed herein. The estimated delivery period for this equipment will be in October 2023. The Brand Name Only items are described below: Nucraft Performance Credenza � Food Service Overall Dimensions: 6�-0�L x 2�-6�D x 3�-0�H General Requirements: Shall be a minimum of 72� L; three modules wide with buffet height top Shall have integrated finger pulls Shall have radius knife edge profile Shall be wood grain laminate top and case; color selection to be made post award Shall have grain match reveal to match case finish Shall have grain match plinth to match case finish Shall have double sided pull-out work-surfaces Shall have buffet flip-up top with flip-up shelf storage Shall have (A) module with open cabinet and adjustable shelves for general storage Shall have (B) module open for slide in 2- drawer refrigeration unit� Shall have (C) module with vented back panel, thermostatic fan, plug strip and sliding equipment rack for AV equipment. The AV module shall have a keyed lock. Shall be provided with cable management3 Shall be provided with refrigerator drawer unit, GE Monogram Double-Drawer Refrigerator Module ZIDI240HII w/ grain match drawer fronts Finish: High Pressure Laminate: Manufacturer�s standard wood grain selection shall include �walnut� Standard Laminate or Thermally Fused Laminate: Manufacturer�s standard wood grain selection shall include �walnut� Edge: Manufacturer�s standard vinyl/ABS selection shall match wood grain pattern Pulls: as specified above Nucraft Performance Credenza - Utility Overall Dimensions: 10�-0�L x 2�-6�D x 3�-0�H Overall Dimensions: See floor plans and elevations. All dimensions to be field verified prior order being placed and installed. Product General Requirements: Shall be a minimum of 120� L; five modules wide with buffet height top Shall have integrated finger pulls Shall have radius knife edge profile Shall be wood grain laminate top and case; color selection to be made post award Shall have grain match reveal to match case finish Shall have grain match plinth to match case finish Shall have (A) module with trash and recycling front opening pull-out Shall have (B) module open for slide in 2- drawer refrigeration unit Shall have (C) module with open cabinet and adjustable shelves for general storage Shall have (D) module with three pull-out drawers, behind door, for china plates, cups and utensils. Provide utensil and dishware organizer inserts for three (3) drawer module. Shall have (E) module with vented back panel, thermostatic fan, plug strip and sliding equipment rack for AV equipment. The AV module shall have a keyed lock. Shall be provided with cable management Shall be provided with refrigerator drawer unit, GE Monogram Double-Drawer Refrigerator Module ZIDI240HII w/ grain match drawer fronts Finish: High Pressure Laminate: Manufacturer�s standard wood grain selection shall include walnut Standard Laminate or Thermally Fused Laminate: Manufacturer�s standard wood grain selection shall include walnut Edge: Manufacturer�s standard vinyl/ABS selection shall match wood grain pattern Pulls: as specified above This notice is NOT a request for quotes. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government to not sole source the items listed above will be based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. The approved Justification and Approval, (J&A) for this procurement will be posted following the closure of this notice.
