Sources Sought / Request for Information Solicitation Number: FA461323Q1024 Purchase Description: Innerduct Conduit Space Recovery THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE TO BE SUBMITTED. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR FOLLOW ON RESPONSES. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. The 90th Contracting Squadron (90 CONS) is issuing this sources sought announcement, FA461323Q1024, for work at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base (FE Warren AFB), Wyoming. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a small business standard of $19.0M, is to be used for market analysis only to determine the availability of potential small business categories for potential set-asides. No award will be made from this sources sought announcement. No solicitation is available at this time. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for the future requirement. Based on the responses to this sources sought/request for information notice the requirement may be set aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. 90 CONS is inviting all interested parties to comment on their solutions to fulfill the performance work statement and to submit any questions they may have regarding the requirement. All comments and questions need to be submitted electronically via email. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to provide a no-dig conduit space recovery solution to safely remove rigid innerduct from around active fiber cables with little to no load on the line, with no interruption of service, and provide flexible fabric innerduct for future cable installation at each manhole, located on F.E. Warren AFB communications conduit duct systems.� The flexible fabric innerduct shall have at least 6 pathways available after installation and will be a brand name or equal to MaxCell fabric innerduct.� The flexible fabric innerduct shall be sized at 2 inches.� After rigid innerduct removal the existing cable in the conduit shall be left in place.� There is approximately 19,500 feet of rigid conduit to be removed.
