- Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE FOR FWS MATHEWS BRAKE NWR C/O MORGAN BRAKE NWR � MS for AGRI ENGINE TRAILER TO DELTA IRRIGATION & SUPPLY, INC. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition & Property Operations intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of: FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source To DELTA IRRIGATION & SUPPLY, INC 101 HIGHWAY 82 E LELAND, MS 38756-9355 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333111 Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing, 1,250 Employees. The object of this sole source award to DELTA IRRIGATION & SUPPLY, INC for D914L06 Deutz Agricultural Engine/Trailer package for running an irrigation well with a 1:1 gearhead ratio. Package includes engine, trailer, and tank. Detailed engine specifications include: engine must be a new, Deutz 6 cylinder diesel engine, air-cooled, and naturally aspirated. The engine must be in-line. The engine must be capable of providing 94 horsepower at 1800 RPM, and 114 horsepower at 2300 RPM. Engine must be equipped with tier 3 emission standards. The engine must be properly mounted to trailer and equipped with Murphy panel to monitor engine. Starting battery must be included. Distance from ground level to drive shaft should be approximately 38�, and output shaft capable of connecting to typical 4 bolt flexshaft. Detailed trailer specifications include: steel fabricated and painted, equipped with 3 jacks for leveling purposes, and new tires and rims. Trailer must be equipped with tongue mounted tank capable of holding 110-150 gallons of fuel and connected to the engine � with a shutoff valve. Agricultural Engine/Trailer package must be delivered to Morgan Brake NWR and fully assembled. Engine must crank and run for approximately 30 minutes at delivery. Engine must include 2 year/2000 hour warranty to cover parts and labor.. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
