THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC), Amistad Dam Bridge Field Office is seeking qualified businesses that can aid in the relocation of One (1) Bulkhead Gate at the Amistad Dam Bridge located at 670 Texas Spur 349, Del Rio, Texas 78840. As part of its market research, the USIBWC is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested small businesses capable of providing the requirement. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential small business sources as part of USIBWC market research.� No Request for Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought Notice. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential sources that can provide the services. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Description of Services The USIBWC is seeking a Contractor who shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision necessary to perform the work as defined in the Performance Work Statement. The Contractor shall perform to the standards required by the USIBWC. Objective A. To retrieve and relocate One (1) Bulkhead Gate from penstock gate #5 and move it to penstock gate # 1 or penstock #2 determine by IBWC and lower it all the way down. Contractor will be required to come back a second time and lift the bulkhead gate after inspections have been performed and move it to penstock # 2 if it was on # 1 and hang it on the I-beams. B. Amistad Dam Bulkhead Gate is approximately 14�4� feet wide by 24�7� feet tall. C. The weight of the bulkhead gate with lifting beam is approximately 33,000 pounds (16.5 Tons). 1.5 Project Location A. USIBWC Amistad Dam Bridge is located at 670 Texas Spur 349, Del Rio, Texas 78840. B. The work is located completely within the United States but is adjacent to the international border with Mexico. Interested sources shall provide a response detailing their capability to deliver the required Trailer Mounted Trash Pumps per the requirements noted. Please provide the following information: 1) Point of Contact email and telephone number, Organization name, address, Web site address, telephone number, business size, Unique Identity Identifier (UEI) or Cage code and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational capability.
