Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT to determine the availability and technical capability of large and small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and Woman Owned Small Business) to provide the required products and/or services. The 375 CONS is seeking information for potential sources for Refurbishing of Staircase Trucks. Scott Air Force Base currently operates 4 staircase trucks that need refurbishing.� The trucks are 2003, 2004 and 2009 models.� The trucks are used for POTUS and TOP V mission taskings and need improvement to maintain a professional image. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES: Vehicles Background: The trucks are 2003/2004/2009 models. The four staircase trucks (03C00822, 04C00409, 09C00073 & 09C00074) are used primarily for POTUS and TOP V mission taskings. Currently all 4 trucks have severe corrosion and have recently been rejected from mission taskings for not being visually appealing by the presidential support staff. This request is to refurbish our vehicles to maintain a professional image to the public eye in the direct support of the President of the United States. Vehicle work: All four vehicles will be sanded down completely and then repainted back to its original color. All the work will be accomplished by the vendor. In addition to the information requested in the attached Sources Sought notice, the Government also requests interested vendors submit past performance information pertinent to this requirement.� Past performance information should include a description of the requirement, pictures (if available), dollar value, and how it relates to the Government's requirement. The Government also requests feedback on the chosen NAICS.
