Description

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard received the following questions in response to the upcoming solicitation for the Overhaul of Barge YC-775, currently located in Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Q1: Will Portsmouth Naval Shipyard provide docking plan and general arrangement dwgs. for YC-775? A: A thumb drive containing the media requested will be provided to you at the site walk on 6/27/2023 Q2: Can PNSY provide picture or dwg. showing the marking (draft, lettering, etc.) for YC-775? A: This will be available at the site walk Q3: Please confirm what type of Barge YC-775 is? A: YC-775 is a standard open lighter.� 110� X 35� Q4: Would PNSY send hatch modifications sketch YC775-01, Rev-, listed in Item # 123-11-001, (2.3) A: This will also be provided on the thumb drive distributed at the site-visit Q5: How should bid pricing be presented, Lump sum or broken down by item? A: We would very much like to see individual items broken out and listed with which line item it would fall under. This would expedite any price justification that may be required during our evaluation Q6: Where should bids be sent to? And in what format? A: The official DD1449 solicitation will include thorough instructions for formatting and submitting a bid or proposal package. However, these have also been posted to the GPE on SAM.gov under ID# N3904023R0016_Instructions_Evaluation Q7: What should be included in a bid aside from pricing? A: Page 15 of the solicitation will ask you to fill out 2 forms under the Past Performance requirement (these will be provided in the solicitation as attachments). Your technical submission should include a synopsized work plan confirming work will or will not be completed by the minimum Period of Performance required by the shipyard.*** ***Please note, this is not an all-encompassing list of submission and evaluation critera. Offerors should refer to Notice ID N3904023R0016_Instructions_Evaluation for additional information. Offerors are advised that while�N3904023R0016_Instructions_Evaluation may assist, DD1449 N3904023R0016 will be the official record for submission instructions and evaluation criteria under Solicitation ID N3904023R0016. Q8: When will bids/proposals be due? A: July 10th. Please refer to the solicitation ID N3904023R0016 (when posted) for the closing time.
