THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary and will be used only for market research purposes to determine availability of sources, commerciality, and competitive strategy. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs associated with any response to this notice as incurred by prospective contractors. ****************************************************************************** Project Title: Medical and Non-Medical Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Inventory System Description: Acquire and Implement a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) inventory system for Medical and Non-Medical inventory items. Maintenance and support will be required. Set up will need to be before the end of the Calendar Year 2023. Scanners and Charging Cradles and Tags must be included. On-site and off-site implementation and training will be necessary. License for two handheld RFID Scanners to be included. Off-site Tag Analysis Documentation will be required. Software must be compatible with current Indian Health Service software. Software must be capable of exporting data to a spreadsheet for report creation and form creation. The anticipated Period of Performance or Delivery Date: 10/01/2023, delivery and set up before 12/31/2023, Annual Support after delivery and set up. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement � 334419 � Other Electronic Component Manufacturing � Small Business Size Standard of 750 Employees. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide equipment/supplies with those described in this notice. THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE ACQUISITION STRATEGY SUCH AS TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE, ANY OTHER SOCIO-ECONOMIC SET ASIDE, OR UNRESTRICTED. NOTE: If this requirement is issued as a set-aside, FAR 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting - Limitations on Subcontracting will apply; by submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Contractor agrees that in performance of a contract it will not pay more than 50 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance, excluding the cost of materials, to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count towards the prime contractor's 50 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: All interested sources must submit a capabilities package to the primary point of contact listed below, no later than June 30, 2023, 5:30 pm EST AT A MINIMUM, THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE POC LISTED IN THIS NOTICE: 1. Confirm the Small Business set-aside status you qualify for under following NAICS Code: 334419 � Other Electronic Component Manufacturing. a. If the proposed NAICS is not the customary or applicable NAICS relative to the needs description, include your firm�s proposed NAICS and rationale for the different NAICS. 2. A positive statement of your intention to submit a quote to an upcoming solicitation as a prime contractor. 3. Provide firm�s UEI Number. 4. Proof that your business is an authorized dealer of the any items needed to support this sources sought; Specifically Medical and Non-Medical RFID Inventory Systems. 5. Information in sufficient detail regarding any previous experience on similar requirements. All of the above information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested qualified Small Business Contractors.
