Description

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to William S. Hein & Co., Inc., located at: 2350 North Forest Rd, Getzville, New York 14068.� The proposed purchase order is for a subscription that provides access to an on-line database with access to its full-text, exact facsimile PDF versions of U.S. Federal, statutory, current and historical journals and periodicals, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with William S. Hein & Co., in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) soliciting from a single source, the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The Single Source Determination has been certified and approved.��The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 519290, ""Internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portals "" and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees.��The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order with a period of performance of one 12-month base year plus four (4) option years.��Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement.��A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.��This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation.��A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will not be made available.��The closing date is for this notice is July 12, 2023. �EEOC intends to execute a competitive procurement in FY 2028 for a new contract for these services. The ultimate Period of Performance ending date for is requirement is 6/30/2028.
