Description

The purpose of this synopsis is to notify industry that a sole source contract action is intended to be awarded to Gans & Pugh Associates, Inc.[UEI: L22ZZ3J986R7 ] under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.501 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. � The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), proposes to enter into a Firm Fixed Price purchase order/ funded contract, sole source contract with Gans & Pugh Associates, Inc., located at 690 CTR ST STE 201 Herndon, Virginia 20170-5019, for the mission critical Avida Panther 4 system. CBP�s market research has not identified any other firms that are registered and approved to sell this Avida system. � Via this notice, it has been determined, and is in the Government�s sole discretion not to compete this contract action. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however, all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit a capabilities statement, proposal, or quotation demonstrating how they can potentially meet the requirements described above.� All submitted capabilities statements will be considered.
