Description

Notice to Sole Source NAICS: 518210 Period of Performance (POP): Base year plus four (4) option years for a total of five (5) years. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Qualtrax Software for �annual subscription and licenses renewal�.� Market Research review, no other potential contractors, other than the previous contractor (Qualtrax) can perform this contract because they are the sole provider of the software. Use of other software would require a rework other CDC systems, delaying the scheduled ISO compliance and certification process that is required to� maintain overal lab certification. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 �only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice if intent is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals; however, all responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotation/proposals should be emailed to Nick Castrinos at UGN8@cdc.gov by 4pm EST 6 July 2023.
