- Description
- The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to solicit, on a 100 percent competitive Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside basis, for the procurement of engineering and technical support services for the F/A-18 and E/A-18G configuration management planning and controls in support of the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Integrated Weapon Support Teams (IWST) at NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia. The contractor shall provide the necessary on-site engineering and technical support to allow the F/A-18 and EA-/18 programs to support existing and planned program efforts. In addition, the contractor will review Design Change Notices (DCNs) processes generated by NAVAIR Fleet Support Teams and managed by NAVSUP WSS personnel. A Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) type of contract will be awarded as a result. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will contain a base period of twelve (12) months with two (2) one-year option periods. Performance is expected to begin 04 August 2023. The procurement is being processed pursuant to FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13.5, and FAR Part 19.14. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and small business size standard are 541330 and $25.5M, respectively. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically on both the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (www.neco.navy.mil) and the SAM website (www.sam.gov). A hard copy of the solicitation WILL NOT be made available. Quoters shall be required to submit both price and non-price quotes. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Philadelphia Office. Quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be considered for award. See www.sam.gov for further information and instructions. There is no fee associated with registering your company in SAM. The solicitation is expected to be released within 7 days of this posting. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the solicitation. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring these websites for posting of the solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation that may be released.
