- 1.���������� Must be able to provide online research tools from professionally curated sources that offer trusted information for a balanced, global perspective and insights 2.���������� Must be able to provide patrons of all backgrounds and skill levels locate the information they need. With hundreds of searchable, full-text titles from the world�s foremost publishers, Credo Reference. 3.���������� Must be able to provide concise, informative videos embedded throughout the platform to teach patrons foundational skills like selecting and narrowing a topic, evaluating sources, Boolean operators, and more. 4.���������� Must be able to provide 10,000+ summary articles curated for pre-search and topic exploration to enable users to gain background information and find direct links for deeper research. 5.���������� Must be able to provide authoritative titles across a wide range of subjects, including art, history, careers, business, technology, psychology, and health. Appropriate for users of all types and ages, this resource includes 3.5+ million entries from notable encyclopedias, guides, and handbooks, as well as 2,000+ instructional videos and 600,000+ contextual visual aids, images, maps, and photographs. 6.���������� Must have a Pro/Con a content category for helping users locate reliable reference materials on issues of real-time importance. Must include publishers like ProCon.org, The Conversation, the All Sides Red Blue Dictionary, and Facts On File�s Issues & Controversies. 7.���������� Content must be constantly added and updated, bringing authority and accuracy to users� current events-related information needs. 8.���������� Must offer Mind Map that is an interactive visualization tool to help users discover connections between and across topics for users to assist in research. 9.���������� Must offer permalinks for record URLs make it easy for researchers to return to previously viewed pages and allow users to create custom collections/lists for research. 10.�������� Users must be able to get cite entries in MLA, Chicago, APA, and Harvard formats. 11.�������� Key Concepts uses relevant terms are displayed within search results to help users identify the focus of each article and provide guidance for additional keywords related to their topic. 12.�������� Content can be embedded into LibGuides or any library management system (LMS) that supports iFrame, including Canvas, D2L, Moodle, and Blackboard. 13.�������� Platform must provide a smooth user experience on any type of device. 14.�������� Content must contain audio files and dictation of text content (downloadable in MP3 format) improve accessibility and provide different avenues for patrons to absorb information. Text content is translated into 60+ languages. 15.�������� Must be able to interface with all four DoD service branch library and Military OneSource websites using industry standard authentication methods to ensure only eligible patrons can access resources from any internet connected computer browsers and mobile devices. 16.�������� Must work with contract POC to establish authentication methods to provide optimal accessibility for all eligible patrons. 17.�������� Security between the Website and server must be Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.3 18.�������� Must be able to supply or allow retrieval of database usage statistics by Branch of Service (Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Military OneSource/Other, and Navy) 19.�������� Must have HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) with long duration deployed on the servers to mitigate/prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. 20.�������� Website certificates should be RSA 2048-bits (SHA256withRSA)
