Description

This is a Synopsis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.2, Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. This procurement is restricted to those approved companies eligible for call orders under the United States Forest Service National Heavy Equipment and Heavy-Duty Trailer Manufacturing Blanket Purchase Order (BPA) Holders, with agreement numbers AG-04KK-B-14-0003 through AG-04KK-B-14-0008. Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number: 12970223Q0059 Project Title: 20-ton Lowboy Transportation Trailer for the Mendocino National Forest Project Description: 20-ton lowboy trailer for the purpose of transporting a 36,650 lb. Air Curtain Destructor, as needed by the US Forest Service.� The completed lowboy trailers shall meet all applicable Federal and State Department of Transportation requirements in place at the time of manufacture. PSC: The primary produce service code is 2510, Vehicular Cab, Body, and Frame Structural Components. NAICS: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333120 � Construction Machinery Manufacturing. Delivery: The deliverables for this work will be provided to the ordering activity. This BPA is composed of Small Businesses and there are currently six (6) businesses that will receive this solicitation. The Call Order shall be issued via email to those companies listed on the BPA. �Any changes to the Call Order RFQ shall also be emailed to those companies listed on the BPA. �Point of Contact is christopher.jordan2@usda.gov.
