- 6/21/23 - Clarification: Payment Bonds are required only if you are awarded the contract. BID BONDS are needed at the time of your offer. Sorry for the confusion.� Amendment #0001 -�Must acknowledge this when submitting your offer. This amendment removes the requirement for performance bonds. ONLY payment bonds are required. Payment bonds are on must be completed using Standard Form 25a. I've attached a SF25a for your convenience.� The 105th Airlift Wing of the New York Air National Guard located in Newburgh, NY is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a single firm fixed price contract for services, nonpersonal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary for a bldg.107 interior renovation and HVAC work in Newburgh, NY (Orange County). The project includes, but is not necessarily limited to: removal of existing carpet, tile, base cove and replace with new paint, tile, carpet tile, outlet covers, and cove base. Replace existing door hardware on double exit doors. Office lighting, outlets, switch covers, etc. Repair by replacement of the existing HVAC components: Condenser, line sets, bearings and evaporator coil. The contract duration will be 45 calendar days after notice to proceed. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $45,000,000.00. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The date for the preproposal conference (site visit) is 16 June 2023, 10:00AM EST.. All questions for the pre-proposal conference must be submitted by 13 June 2023 4pm EST via email to kevin.fenner.1@us.af.mil. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow the base access requirements that are shown in the solicitation. Solicitation Close Date will be 07 July 2023 at 10:00am EST. The solicitation and associated information and the plans and specifications will be available only from the Contract Opportunities page at beta.SAM.gov. Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Contractors MUST have an ACTIVE SAM registration when submitting your offer. If your SAM is inactive or non-existent, we cannot accept your offer. To register go to www.sam.gov. Instructions for registering are on the web page (there is no fee for registration). *** Payment Bonds are required, Performance Bonds are NOT required for this project.
