Description
Snake River Area West Weed Control This is a Pre-Solicitation Sources Sought announcement only. This is not a request for proposals, quotations, or bids and no purchase order will be awarded from this notice. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.2.3(a), this is the official synopsis that the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) intends to issue a written Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about May 26, 2023, for Snake River Area facilities weed control services. A brief synopsis of the services required is as follows: The Bureau of Reclamation Snake River Area Office requires weed-control services for the following Facilities/locations: Anderson Ranch Dam, Arrowrock Dam, Black Canyon Dam, Boise Diversion Storage Yard, Cascade Dam, Deadwood Dam, Mann Creek Park, Black Canyon Park, Wildrose Park, Cobblestone Park, Montour Campground, Triangle Park, and specific C-Line Power Poles. The contractor must supply all labor, chemicals, and materials necessary to apply herbicides in accordance with current laws and regulations. The government will not provide any materials or labor to the contractor. The contractor must dispose of all used and unused chemicals in accordance with current laws and regulations. The contractor must only use chemical herbicides that comply with Federal, State, and local regulations. The contractor must follow all Federal, State, and local regulations for herbicide application. If there is any chance of the applied chemical entering a stream, river, canal, ditch, wetland, pond, or aquifer, the contractor will only use an aquatic-approved herbicide. Note: It is critical that no herbicide damages occur at any application sites. The applicator will follow all manufacturers' instructions and comply with all OSHA and Reclamation Safety and Health Standards. The solicitation number is 140R1023Q0013. The solicitation, amendments, and any other information will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about May 26, 2023, through the Federal Government Electronic Posting System, www.SAM.gov. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disk, faxes, email, etc.) will be provided. Paper solicitations will not be available. This solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 for base period of nine (9) months and four (4) each 12-month period option years.
