- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for technical engineering services, materials, and enhanced capaility development of Computed Tomography (CT) systems.� Accordingly, the TSA intends to award contracts to the following vendors: Analogic Corporation, 8 Centennial Dr.,�Peabody, MA 01960 IDSS Holdings, Inc.,�85 Swanson Rd. , STE 110,�Boxboro, MA 01719 Smiths Detection, Inc.,�2202 Lakeside Blvd.,�Edgewood, MD 21040 These contracts will address the requirements of TSA Requirements and Capabilities Analysis (RCA) for technical engineering services, materials and enhanced capability development of CT systems. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one sources under the authority of FAR 6.302.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to the requirement or submit proposals.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determing whether to conduct a competitive procurement.�� Interested vendors who may wish to seek subcontracting opportunities should contact the above named companies directly.
