- ***IBM SITE NUMBER - 3266381*** The primary purpose of this requirement is to provide HATS training, consultation, deployment, and support services to the DFAS team to enable their mainframe modernization. Host Access Transformation Services (HATS) from IBM will allow Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS) to covert the outdated mainframe green screens to a graphical user interface (GUI). The usage of HATS by the end users is covered in the current Mainframe LOB software agreement with DISA. This aligns with the DFAS strategic goal to modernize our environment. HATS will allow DFAS to make DCPS more intuitive. The new interface will reduce processing errors with modern technology rather than free� form typing. A GUI in DCPS will modernize and improve visibility and quality for our customer. It will also aid in the recruitment and retention of on of personnel at DFAS and customer sites.�
