- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Arcata Field Office, (Humboldt County) is issuing this combined synopsis solicitation for Forest thinning and hazardous fuels reduction under commercial item procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Firm, fixed-price quotes are requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Solicitation number 140L1223Q0042. This document incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02. This solicitation is set-aside for small business under the North American Industrial Code (NAICS) code 115310 for Support Activities for Forestry. The Small Business Annual Receipts for the preceding three (3) fiscal years does not exceed $11.5 Million. Referenced FAR clauses are available in full text at: https://www.acquisition.gov/browse/index/far. Offeror must be registered in the SAM.gov before providing a quote. If the offeror is not registered in SAM, it may do so through the SAM website at: www.sam.gov. A Site Visit will be held for this requirement. (See Below 52.237-1 Site Visit (Apr 1984) Questions Due Date: May 25, 2023, at 05:00 AM (PDT) Quotations Due Date: Quotes will be only accepted via e-mail at lehlinger@blm.gov no later than May 31, 2023, 10:30 AM (PDT).
