- SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSIONOF A SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATION IN VARIOUS MILITARY CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS FOR THE US ARMY ENGINEER DISTRICTS, ALASKA AND IN NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed item as part of larger construction contracts to be executed on various military installations throughout the State of Alaska. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR6.302-1(c), ""Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."" ITEM: SnoBlox Deuce Clear Snow Guard SnoBlox Deuce Clear Snow Guard provide protection by preventing large sheets of snow from avalanching off a roof and potentially damaging property or passerby below. Snow guards are a practical, cost-effective addition to any sloped metal roof in winter climates. Vendors who offer similar products are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information: 1. Identification of the manufacturer's name, address and country of product manufacture. 2. Fully detailed specification sheet's 3.
