- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a sole source contract to Kilda Group, LLC, 479 Jumpers Hole Road STE 204, Severna Park MD 21146 for Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Biomedical Training and Support. This work will support the HTM Professional Development Program via program office support, competency development, and training support for the HTM Community. The Contractor must plan, develop, deliver, and manage required competency development offerings to enable the HTM community s drive to provide the best patient outcomes to the Veteran community. Further, the Contractor must provide and manage the necessary tools to enable an effective HTM Professional Development Program in support of long-range, near-term, and emergent requirements. This includes the development, management, and enhancement of the HTM Training & Education SharePoint site via Agile sprints and implementing augmented analytics to better inform HTM stakeholders. This proposed contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-5 entitled, Authorized or required by statute and in accordance with VAAR 819.7007 entitled, Sole source awards to service-disabled Veteran owned small business concerns . The applicable statute is Public Law 109- 461: Veterans Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006 specifically, the Veterans First Contracting Program outlined in 38 USC ยง 8127(c). This is a ""Notice of Intent"" and not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties that feel they can provide the services may respond to the point of contact listed in this notice no later than 5:00PM ET on July 13, 2023. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
