- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Jackson, SC intends to conduct oral solicitations for multiple construction requirements to be performed on Fort Jackson.� See the list below for solicitation numbers, descriptions, applicable NAICS codes, small business size standards, and the magnitude for all projects. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) soliciting orally, authorized by FAR Subpart 13.106- 1(c) The contracting officer shall solicit quotations orally to the maximum extent practicable, if the acquisition does not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold, oral solicitation is more efficient than soliciting through available electronic commerce alternatives; and notice is not required under 5.101 (Exception 5.202(a)(13) applies). This notice is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation documentation exists nor will a solicitation be issued, and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for determining whether or not to request an oral quote. These must be submitted NLT 10 days after the posting of this notice, in writing, and must contain clear and convincing evidence that inclusion for this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
