- The purpose to this amendment is to correct a system error of the system for the NAICS code has been update from 115310 Support Activities for Forestry ($11.5 Million) to 115310 Support Activities for Forestry-Fuels Management Services ($34 Million). An additional site visit has been added on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 10:00 local time, see the solicitation FAR Subpart 52.237-1 for information. The period of performance has been updated from the time of award to 03/01/2025. The document has been updated to incorporate provisions and clauses through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04. FAR Subpart 52.212-5 has been updated to June 2023. The purpose to this amendment is to extend the closing date to 10:00 AM (PDT), July 14, 2023. The NAICS code has been update from 115310 Support Activities for Forestry ($11.5 Million) to 115310 Support Activities for Forestry-Fuels Management ($34 Million) Please see highlighted areas to the PWS and evaluation criteria. Attachment 4 Wage Determination 1977-0727 has been updated. An additional site visit has been added on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 10:00 local time, see the solicitation FAR Subpart 52.237-1 for information. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Arcata Field Office, (Humboldt County) is issuing this combined synopsis solicitation for Forest thinning and hazardous fuels reduction under commercial item procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Firm, fixed-price quotes are requested under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Solicitation number 140L1223Q0042. This solicitation is set-aside for small business under the North American Industrial Code (NAICS) code 115310 for Support Activities for Forestry-Fuels Management Services. The Small Business Annual Receipts for the preceding three (3) fiscal years does not exceed $34 Million. Referenced FAR clauses are available in full text at: https://www.acquisition.gov/browse/index/far. Offeror must be registered in the SAM.gov before providing a quote. If the offeror is not registered in SAM, it may do so through the SAM website at: www.sam.gov. A Site Visit will be held for this requirement, on July 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
