- Description
- The 6th Contracting Squadron at MacDill AFB seeks to establish up to five (5) unpriced Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) providing for Event Planning and Coordination Support Services. A BPA is an agreement between the government and a contractor, which sets the stage for us to buy something quickly. All vendors will be considered to be pre-vetted when the BPA is initially established. All relevant requirements will be competed amongst pre-vetted BPA holders. Each BPA will not cite accounting and appropriation data. Future calls will be funded as described in attachment #3, BPA Terms and Conditions (Purchase Limitations). A list of authorized users will be provided with finalized BPAs. Regardless of whether a BPA has been decentralized to allow customers to place calls or the BPA has remained centralized in the contracting office for buyers to place calls, the conditions of purchases remain the same. As with any purchase, sufficient funds must be available before a call can be placed against a BPA. BPAs may be funded using a number of funding documents such as the AF Form 9, Request for Purchase; AF Form 616, Fund Cite Authorization (FCA); or AF Form 4009, Government Purchase Card Fund Cite Authorization. A BPA itself is not a contract. If, at any time, the government or the contractor decides the agreement has no future value for it, either can simply provide the required notification to the other party to terminate the agreement. Each basic agreement should provide for discontinuing its future applicability upon 30 days written notice by either party. See question and answers attached. Also, this was modified to extend the end date to 14 JULY 2023.
