- Description
- This is a Synopsis Notice for armed roving patrol guard services, installing/uninstalling and alarm monitoring service for housing residences, and roadside assistance along Comalapa Highway for the United States Navy Cooperative Security Location, Comalapa Air Base, El Salvador and the outlying areas supported by this command. The procuring contracting office is NAVFAC Southeast, Bldg. 903, P.O. Box 30, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL 32212. The primary point of contact is Courtney Peterson, Contract Specialist. The proposed solicitation number is N6945023Q0018. The work includes, but is not limited to, all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment, and other items necessary to perform: Force Protection and other related services along Comalapa Highway for the United States Navy Cooperative Security Location, Comalapa Air Base, El Salvador and the outlying areas supported by this command. This requirement is performance based. The proposed contract type is a firm-fixed price contract. It will be competitively procured using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.� The primary NAICS Code for this procurement is 561612 and the annual small business size standard is $29.0M dollars. The contract term is anticipated to be a base period of one year plus four one-year option periods, for a total contract performance period not to exceed five years (60 months). The base period will be the overall minimum guarantee. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. These services are currently being performed under contract N6945019P1711, awarded in 2018. Information about the current contract and the incumbent contractor (e.g., firm name, address, etc.) will be included in the solicitation package. Requests under the Freedom of Information Act are not required for this information. The proposed solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis under full and open competition solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the solicitation. FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs, does not apply to El Salvador. The solicitation utilizes evaluation procedures which require offerors to submit price and non-price information.� The Government will award to a responsible contractor whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, is determined technically acceptable and will be the most advantageous to the Government. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at www.sam.gov when it becomes available. The anticipated date of RFQ issuance is on or after 13 July 2023.
