Title Notice of Intent to Sole Source 10X genomics Reagents NAICS Code: 325413 Product Service Code: 6550 Place of Performance:� Bethesda, MD 20892 POTS: 23-009946 Description This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Purchasing and Contracting, on behalf of the Critical Care Medicine Department intends to award a one-time fixed price purchase order to 10X Genomics, Inc located in Pleasanton, California 94588-3260 on a sole source basis to supply 10X Reagents. The purpose of this requirement is to acquire 10X Genomics Reagents for the Critical Care Medicine Department to perform and continue translational research evaluating the pathogenesis and treatment of high-consequence respiratory viral pathogens and inflammation using 10X Genomics instruments. �10X Genomics is the original equipment manufacturer and the only supplier of its reagents which are proprietary in nature and cannot be interchanged with other manufacturer's instrumentation or reagents. �There are no other sources capable of supplying the required reagents other than the original equipment manufacturer, 10X Genomics.� Place of Performance: The National Institutes of Health 10 Center Drive Building 10, Room TBD Bethesda, MD 20892 This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 � Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstance of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.� Contracts awarded using FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6-Competition Requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Sheri Eiri Contract Specialist, sheri.eiri@nih.gov by the due date and time marked in this notice.
