- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of Other than Small Businesses and/or Small Businesses, including VIP-Verified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339113. This sources sought notice is to determine interest and capability of authorized vendors able to fulfill the following requirements: Brand Name or Equal Request Line Item 0001: GH3+ 770 lbs. SWL w/ Integrated CLASS III Scale and Hanger Bar. 4mx4m (13'x13') or Smaller Non-Recessed Room Covering Track System. Room 130 Line Item 0002: GULDMANN CERTIFIED INSTALLATION. Non Union Labor [and hardware] to install lifts in [list area/specific or # of rooms]. [X] room(s) per day, [X] mobilization(s) of installation team. Electrical work, existing structure demo, modification, or rei nstallation including but not limited to ceilings, walls, tile, patching, painting, acoustic caulking, asbestos abatement, smoke/fire wall repair, fireproofing reapplication, sprinkler relocation and door header modification is outside the scope of work for Guldmann installers and Guldmann is not licensed for performing such work, nor is Guldmann responsible for hiring specific contractors/trades to perform such work. ICRA up to level II provided; additional is responsibility of facili ty. Guldmann will perform light cleaning of the area but returning room to original condition is outside of scope of work for Guldmann installers. If an Above Ceiling Work Permit is required, facility must provide. Single (1) Phase/Mobilization/ Trips Line Item 0003: 3rd Party Stamped Engineered Drawings from Licensed Structural Engineer If responding to this notice please provide the following: Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product; Business size/Socioeconomic status; Memo or correspondence from manufacturer to distribute their products. This is not a Request for Proposal/Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for set-aside consideration. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339113. Responses should be submitted by e-mail to Vernise L. Newton at Vernise.newton@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 10:00 am Central Standard Time on 07/03/2023.
