- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. This is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), hereby announces its intent to issue a sole source order/contract to Key Solutions INC. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 513210 � Software Publishers, with a size standard in millions of dollars, $47.0. Background: The ability to have accurate electronic animal tracking, census, animal protocol, and compliance records is pertinent to our AAALAC accreditation and OLAW policies and guidelines. Records and documents of animal protocols, health records and census information must be accessible and reviewed by multiple users as well as available to inspectors and customers for use and review. Supply/Service Description: Line Item 1- License for eProtocol IACUC Software module for Animal Subjects One-time Application Software License (up to 50 active protocols) One-time Installation and configuration One-time Training (8 hours of web-based training completed in four to eight sessions) Annual Maintenance� Line Item 2 - License for LARS Software module for Lab Animal Resource Management One-time Application Software License (up to 50 active protocols) One-time Installation and configuration One-time Training (8 hours of web-based training completed in four to eight sessions) Annual Maintenance Line Item 3 � LDAP (Single Sign On) Integration Line Item 4 � AALAS Training Integration Line Item 5 � Data Migration Line Item 6 - Option Year 1 Annual Maintenance Line Item 7 - Option Year 2 Annual Maintenance Line Item 8 - Option Year 3 Annual Maintenance A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action will be based on responses to this notice and is solely in the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. This action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will review any/all product, capabilities, and pricing information submitted prior to the closure of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
