Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to negotiate and award a Delivery Order�under Basic Ordering Agreement N6449822G4002 to MacTaggart, Scott & Company LTD, Hunter Avenue, Loanhead,�Midlothian EH20 9SP GBR for the procurement of two(2) Original Equipment Manufacturer hydraulic motors with�integrated brakes for use on US Navy submarines. The Government intends to make an award in the 3rd quarter of�FY23. This is part of a follow-on procurement for this requirement. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), MacTaggart, Scott & Company LTD is the only responsible source capable of�fulfilling the Navy�s requirements for the specified effort. The proposed award and resulting contract modifications�are for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority�of FAR 6.302. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties, however, may�identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement. The Government will consider all�information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis. Information received will normally be considered�solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the�Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the�discretion of the Government. Responses shall be made in writing by E-mail to the attention of Ryan Cunningham via�email at ryan.cunningham3@navy.mil by 4:30 PM on 14 July 2023.
