Description

In accordance with FAR 5.2, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to Synel Americas, Inc. for Synergy A BC FPU 3000 Time Clocks and Synergy GO Handheld Fingerprint Terminal devices. The US Coast Guard, C5I Service Center, intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to Synel Americas Inc. 8665 E. Hartford Drive, Suite 100, Scottsdale, Arizona, 85255-5486. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Synel Americas Inc. is the source capable of providing the required components to U.S. Coast Guard. This hardware is proprietary and there are no authorized resellers. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 5:00 p.m. EDT on 17 July 2023. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to the Contract Specialist, Ann Leuters at ann.m.leuters@uscg.mil and the Contracting Officer, Mark Rushing, at Mark.a.rushing@uscg.mil with solicitation number referenced in the subject line.
