- Description
- A market survey is being conducted to determine the general level of market interest in the project and to use the garnered information to better determine the source selection strategy. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District Contracting Division is seeking information regarding capability and availability of potential contractors to perform Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Task Order Contract for the performance of a wide-range of A-E Services related to the design of standardized, non-permanent facilities in support of the Center of Standardization (CoS) for Non-Permanent Facilities within the District. The purpose of this contract is to provide facilitation services, continued technical support, maintenance, and design of non-permanent facilities for the Government for projects worldwide. The CoS is periodically requested by Combatant Commanders, Army Component Commands, Joint Forces Command, Department of the Army Engineer, Training and Doctrine Command, Headquarters US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), other major commands (MACOMs), USACE Divisions and Districts, Army Engineer units (both active guard and reserve), and other Government agencies to perform studies and develop contingency designs. CoS designs are reviewed and updated regularly to utilize state-of-the-art technology in construction designs, materials, and techniques within Army capabilities to conserve resources. To conserve resources, standardized and simplified designs for essential facilities are developed. These designs enable adaptation to local climates and materials and require minimal skilled work for assembly. Thus, engineer tasking can be expanded by supplementation with non-engineer troops or indigenous labor. Work performed under this contract will require a wide range of technical support and disciplines to perform the required tasks. We will award one A-E Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract with a total capacity of $9,000,000. Contract duration will be 5 years, with a base period of three years and a single optional period of two years. Due to the nature of the work, annual distribution of the work is unknown and cannot be forecasted. Total submittal package shall be no longer than 10 pages, not including the questionnaire. Please only include a narrative of the requested information; additional information will not be reviewed. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey.
