SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Solicitation Number: �75N95023Q00448 Title:� NanoLive Microscope Stage Upgrade, Brand Name or Equal Classification Code:� 6640 � Laboratory Equipment and Supplies NAICS Code:� 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing Size Standard: 1000 Description:� This is a Sources Sought Notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. This notice is issued to help determine the availability of qualified companies technically capable of meeting the Government requirement and to determine the method of acquisition.� It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract.� Responses will not be considered as proposals or quotes.� No award will be made as a result of this notice.� The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by the respondents to this notice.� This notice is strictly for research and information purposes only. Background:� The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is the nation�s leading medical research agency and the primary Federal agency whose mission is to seek fundamental knowledge about the nature and behavior of living systems and the application of that knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce illness and disability, conducting, supporting and making medical discoveries that improve people�s health and save lives. The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) is a part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which mission it is to catalyze the generation of innovative methods and technologies that will enhance the development, testing and implementation of diagnostics and therapeutics across a wide range of human diseases and conditions. To establish and move stem cell technologies forward through a more centralized effort, NIH has launched the Stem Cell Translation Laboratory (SCTL) within NCATS. The goal of the SCTL is to bring iPSC technology closer to clinical application, drug discovery and regenerative medicine. Through the SCTL, NCATS will provide researchers across various disciplines and organizations with the ability to establish collaborations to advance the translation of regenerative medicine applications Purpose and Objectives: �The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain one (1) x Nanolive-OKOlab Manual on-stage incubation module and (1) x Nanolive Cell Explorer High-grade Stage Upgrade (Brand Name or Equal) for the Stem Cell Translation Laboratory (SCTL) within the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) Division of Preclinical Innovation (DPI). The Nanolive on-stage incubator and stage upgrade enable automated live cell imaging, label-free imaging through time of human pluripotent stem cells and derived somatic cells. Project requirements: The essential characteristics of the Nanolive upgrade that limit the availability to a brand name or equal are exact stage and hardware dimensions and integration of the upgraded stage with the stage top incubator.� The material or service must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit, and function) with existing systems presently installed. The current equipment is the Nanolive 3D Cell Explorer, and the new item/service must coordinate, connect, or interface with the existing system by seamless integration to the existing hardware and interface. 1) Brand name or equal: Nanolive-OKOlab manual on-stage incubation and stage upgrade 2) Manufacturer�s name: Nanolive 3) Model, type, catalog number: Nanolive-OKOlab manual on-stage incubation and stage upgrade 4) Physical/functional/performance features of the product: Upgrade allows for automated live cell, label-free imaging of cells through time. 5) Features of the product that are essential to the government�s needs: This Nanolive microscope upgrade allows for characterization of live cells. Nanolive - OKOlab Manual on-stage incubation OKO-AP (air pump), 2GF-MIXER (gas manual mixer to mix air, CO2), Pressure Gauge, Glass Bottle-Humidifying Module, Heated Tube, Objective Heater, Stage Top Chamber, Uno Control Unit, Mini-USBOTG, T-Sensor Mini Heater Collar. Nanolive Cell Explorer High-grade Stage Upgrade Anticipated period of performance: One-time delivery 3 weeks days after receipt of order. Capability statement /information sought. Respondents must provide clear and convincing documentation of their capability of providing the equipment specified in this notice. The respondent must also provide their UEI number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., 8(a), HubZone, etc., pursuant to the applicable NAICS code and any other information that may be helpful in developing or finalizing the acquisition requirements. One (1) copy of the response is required and must be in Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format using 11-point or 12-point font, 8-1/2� x 11� paper size, with 1� top, bottom, left and right margins, and with single or double spacing. The information submitted must be in an outline format that addresses each of the elements of the service requirement and in the capability statement /information sought paragraphs stated herein.� The response must include the respondents� technical and administrative points of contact, including names, titles, addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses. All responses to this notice must be submitted electronically to the Contract Specialist. Facsimile responses are NOT accepted. The response must be submitted to Claudia Ventola, Contract Specialist at email address claudia.ventola@nih.gov The response must be received on or before July 12, 2023, 1:00 PM Eastern Time. �Disclaimer and Important Notes:� This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response.
