- Description
- This contract is for the supply and delivery of 12,500 tons of crushed aggregate for the use by the government in road maintenance.�� The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform this project.� Contractor furnished aggregate shall comply with Section 703.05(b) of the Forest Service Specifications, Grading Designation �G.� The contractor shall provide a water truck and operator for dust abatement of the haul route. �Aggregate shall be delivered to the project in bottom dump trucks only.� Contractor shall provide a minimum of 8 trucks for delivery and hauling of material.� Aggregate shall be placed in windrows for the full length of the project as directed by the Contracting Officer Representative.� Government operated equipment will mix, spread, compact and grade the windrowed aggregate.� Contractor shall be responsible for providing a quality control plan to assure that the materials meet specifications.� Material sampling and testing is required as specified in Table 1 of the Specific Work Requirements. Have all questions submitted no later than June 29, 2023 at 11:30 am. Please contact Mr. Staggs if you will need additional time to prepare questions.
