Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice�Waste Water Treatment Services 70Z08423DOL930012 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources pursuant to FAR Part 10.� Purpose: This notice is issued by the Coast Guard Director of Operational Logistics Office of Procurement and Contracting, Commercial Support Services Branch (DOL-931) Norfolk, VA to identify businesses capable of providing Waste Water Treatment Services for the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Field Office Eastern Shore, VA for a base period plus four (4) option periods, if exercised by the Government, with an anticipated start date of 01 May 2024. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) is 221320 (Sewage Treatment Facilities) standard size value of $35M. Disclaimer: This RFI does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or a Request for Proposals, nor should it be considered as a commitment on the part of the Government. Submission of any information in response to this request is purely voluntary; the information received will not obligate the Government in any manner nor will the Government reimburse companies for any costs associated with submittal of this Sources Sought. After reviewing responses to this RFI, and if the USCG still plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement may be published on the Contract Opportunities (sam.gov) website or distributed to contract holders if a strategically sourced vehicle is deemed appropriate. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the Contract Opportunities website. Failure to respond or submit sufficiently detailed information may result in a company not being considered a likely offeror when making a decision on whether or how to set aside a solicitation for restricted competition. Regardless of the information submitted, the Government reserves the right to consider any arrangement as determined appropriate for this requirement. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response to this RFI. The Government reserves the right to use any information provided by respondents for any purpose determined necessary and legally appropriate, including using technical information provided by respondents in any resultant solicitation. If yes, please provide contract number, what agency it is with, and agency point of contact information. 11)������ What type of contract (e.g. firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, etc.) have you been issued before for this type of work? Do you recommend one type or a perhaps a hybrid (i.e. a contract that allows several types)? 12)������ Provide any general comments, thoughts, and feedback your company would like to share regarding this RFI. 13)������ Address the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. 14)������ If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated, organizations should address the logistical, administrative, and management structure of such arrangements.
