Description

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West, JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to Eke, Raphael at West Des Moines, IA, to provide Roman Catholic Priest services in support of the Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), Joint Base San Antonio, located at Fort Sam Houston, TX. The period of performance will consist of a base year of 12 months plus four (4) twelve-months Option Periods. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 United States Code 1901 as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.501(a)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items. Award will be made on or about 30 August 2023.� The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 813110 Religious Organizations; SBA Small Business Size Standard $8.0mil). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A formal solicitation will not be published unless it is determined in the best interest of the Government to do so. However, all responses received, to include capability statements received before close of business 14 July 2023 will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
