Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice. �The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) southern Regional Research Center (SRRC) located in New Orleans, LA, has a requirement to:� Design, Construct, and Install Solar Panel Array.� The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a solar array. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) intends to enter into a firm fixed-price contract with a single Contractor for the design and construction of onsite Photovoltaic (PV) systems located at the Southern Regional Research Center (SRRC), 1100 Allen Toussaint, New Orleans, LA 70124-4305. USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract.� The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside.� The NAICS code for this requirement is 221114 with a size standard of 250 employees.� Contractors shall not directly contact the�facility to discuss this requirement.� During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). �The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on or about July 24, 2023.� This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
