- PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT.� THIS IS A POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ISSUED ONLY TO CONDUCT A MARKET RESEARCH STUDY FOR AN ANTICIPATED MILITARY PROGRAM. The information received will be used within Religious Support Office (RSO) at the Presidio of Monterey, California, to facilitate the decision-making process and will not be disclosed outside of the organization. �This announcement is not a request for proposals, but a survey of the market for potential sources. �No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. �This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. �Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. � The Religious Support Office (RSO) has a requirement for the non-personal services of Catholic Clergy Services to Soldiers and Family members in the Catholic Congregations at Presidio of Monterey, California (POM) Chapel.� Army Catholic Priest Chaplains are not available to provide Catholic services at POM or the Chapel Activities Center at the POM.� The Contractor shall provide worship and liturgy for services, pastoral ministrations, counseling, confessional opportunities, hospital visitation, and other lay participation activities that support worship services.� The Contractor shall provide all labor necessary to plan and implement services for Catholic Worship at the POM chapel in coordination with the Garrison Chaplain.� The Contractor is also expected to schedule services, coordinate the overall Catholic community religious program in support of the Installation Chaplain�s ecumenical Religious Support (RS) programs under specific guidance.� The work to be performed under this contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 813110 Religious Organizations with a corresponding Size Standard of $13 million. �The period of performance is base year and two (2) 12-month option years.� Interested sources are invited to respond to this source sought announcement utilizing their company letterhead in a Portable Document Format (PDF). �Please include the following information: 1.� Contractor Information shall include: Company Name; Address; Point of Contact; Telephone number; E-Mail Address; CAGE Code; Web Page URL, if applicable; and Small business size certification, if applicable.� For more information on the definitions or requirements of small business programs, refer to http://www.sba.gov/. 2.� Experience: Submit a maximum of 3 government or commercial contracts/projects your firm has completed in the last 3� � � �years demonstrating your experience in the following areas; Special Training/Qualifications: �Individuals providing Catholic clergy services will be Ordained members of the Catholic Church and endorsed by the Archdiocese for Military Services (AMS). �The Contractor shall be experienced and fully qualified to perform the required services without any direction by Government personnel.� The Contractor shall provide the written proof of faculties for all personnel performing services, as well as a completed background check consistent with procedures per DoDI 1402.5.� The Contractor will comply with the policies defined in the Minimum Requirements for the Pastoral Care of Catholic Personnel as published by Archdiocese of Military Services, USA dated 25 September 2008. A copy of the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. Note: Draft copy of the PWS is subject to change. For each of the contracts submitted, provide the title; location; whether prime or subcontractor work; award and completion dates; contract or subcontract value; type of work; type of contract; a narrative description of the services provided by your firm; and customer information including two points of contact, phone number, and email address. E-mail file may not be larger than 3 Mega Byte (MB).� Elaborate brochures or documentation, detailed art work, or other embellishments are unnecessary and not desired.
