Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) for Veteran Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8 to implement and sustainment support for its Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) Maintenance. . The system employs VMware infrastructure at each site with the primary site located at the Lakemont datacenter in Orlando, FL. The PACS establishes a centralized database at Orlando (iVault) for both Radiology and Cardiovascular (Echo, Cath Lab, Vascular Lab) exams. The exams on the iVault at the beginning of 2023 was more than 16,000,000 exams at 620 Terabytes in a lossless format. All exams are duplicated outside of VISN 8 at a VA approved facility. The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. The Draft PWS describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of services and may vary from the work scope in a final PWS included in a solicitation. The anticipated period of performance of: 1 October 2023 thru 30 September 2024 with possible four one-year option periods. This RFI will obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified businesses: Large Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, small business sources; HUB Zone 8(a), Women-Owned, or small disadvantaged business concerns; and their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541519. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the availability of small businesses in consideration of a socio-economic set-aside. Interested parties submitting a response to this inquiry must include the following information: 1. Name and address of company 2. Primary point of contact, including phone number and e-mail address 3. Applicable socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information, which demonstrates firm s ability to meet the requirement 4. Experience. Brief descriptions of recent and relevant projects for tasks similar to those in the Draft PWS (2 pages maximum) 5. Business size (the applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541519) 6.
