- This is a sources sought synopsis in support of market research being conducted by the United States Air Force(USAF) Air Force Recruiting Service (AFRS) Detachment 1 (Det-1) to identify potential sources able to provide this system.��� The immersive pilot flight simulator game solution provides a realistic experience that inspires users of all ages to pursue the USAF fighter pilot perspective.� The RFI response should provide an integrated immersive technology solution that enhances the AFRS Det-1 mission to inform, influence and to inspire player/users to pursue USAF aviator and aviation career path interests.��� The AFRS Det-1 is requesting technical capability information from interested and qualified immersive cyber technology game service providers for a full-service commercial off the shelf (COTS) turnkey mobile advanced-technology immersive pilot flight simulator game solution.��� The RFI response should comprehensively integrate:�� COTS solution using advanced immersive technology Virtual, augmented, or mixed reality and or�� 360-degree video�� Immersive visual and auditory experiences� Give the player an immersive USAF fighter pilot experience.��� For example, the COTS solution may be composed of a combination of virtual, augmented, or mixed reality and or 360-degree video, or other recommended COTS advanced technology fighter pilot flight simulator software and or USAF owned flight simulator software. The COTS solution shall include a hands-on throttle and stick (HOTAS).�� The RFI response should include an abbreviated phased PM plan how the company plans provide advanced technology solution options to deliver, support, manage and maintain the solution.��� Users of all ages, primarily elementary, middle, and high school age players with potential experience in immersive game technology.��� The solution support and service duration will be for 12-months with the option of four (4) extensions, 6-months duration each.���
