- NASA has awarded theSynthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) Support contract to the University of Alaska Fairbanks / Alaska Satellite Facility (UAF / ASF) of Fairbanks, Alaska.�The contract action was not awarded competitively. The redacted JOFOC is attached.� This is a Cost-No Fee contract that includes a one (1) year base period and four (4) one-year options. The five-year period of performance begins July 1, 2023. The work will be performed at the contractor�s facility in Fairbanks, Alaska. Under this follow-on contract, Alaska Satellite Facility will continue to provide Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) development and operations support performing user services, product generation, data and information management, data archival and distribution, and related science support activities.�
