- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION GENERAL INFORMATION Document Type: Combined Solicitation/Synopsis Solicitation Number: 36C26223Q1408 Posted Date: 07/10/2023 Original Response Date: 07/28/2023 12:00 PM MST (Arizona Time) Product of Service Code: J041 NAICS Code: 238220 Contracting Office Address NCO 22 ATTN: Charity Cazee Department of Veterans Affairs 3601 S. 6Th Avenue Building 45 Tucson, AZ 85723 Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation is for services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04 / 06/02/2023. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238220, with a small business size standard of $19 Million Dollars. The Network Contracting Office 7 is seeking to Repair/Refurbish/PMI AC Units-3&4 for the Jennifer Moreno VA Medical Center located in San Diego, CA. All questions regarding this RFQ must be in writing and may be sent by e mail to Charity.Cazee@va.gov. Questions must be received no later than July 19, 2023, at 12:00 PM PST (Pacific Time). No further questions will be accepted after that date and time. All offers must be in writing and may be sent by e mail to Charity.Cazee@va.gov. Offers must be received no later than July 28, 2023, at 12:00 PM PST (Pacific Time). No further offers will be accepted after that date and time. You are reminded that representatives from your company SHALL NOT contact any VA Medical Center employees to discuss this RFQ during this RFQ process. All questions and concerns regarding this RFQ shall be directed to the Contracting Officer. SCHEDULE: All interested companies shall provide a quotation for the following: VA San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) currently has a requirement for a non-personal services order to provide repair, refurbishment, and PMI services for A/C units 3 & 4. Work will be done in an asbestos environment. The VAMC San Diego building 1, main building, contains asbestos. Any worker entering these asbestos containing areas must have an asbestos certification of no less than 16 hours and a valid fit test certification. Certifications must be presented to the VA project manager before any work in an asbestos area may begin. The Contractor must possess a Contractors State License for C-20 (HVAC) and asbestos certification. See the attached Statement of Work for further details.
