Description

Amendment 1 is issued to post site visit details for Wednesday July 12, 2023, at 9am at Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, 91 Bartlett Park Road, Middlesboro KY, 40965. Due date is extended to July 18, 2023. The National Park Service (NPS), Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, will be contracting to perform all work to Repair Visitor Center Controls and Replace Chiller Compressor. WORK INCLUDES: 1 Repair inoperative Carrier Controls a. Furnish and install a new IVUE 6400 and Expansion module and connect to the IVUE system b. Verify proper operation 2 Replace broken chiller compressor a. Capture system refrigerant and remove old compressor b. Install a new A2 compressor with new filter dryer c. Add new R22 refrigerant d. Start-up and verify proper operation TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price 100% small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors and the size standard is $16.5 million. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price commercial contract based on the quote that represents the best value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. Period of Performance 7/17/2023 to 10/17/2023 SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system.
