- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office (NCO 20) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Roche Diagnostics Corps. This requirement is for a Base Plus Four contract for consumables and reagents to support Clinical laboratory molecular testing at VAPORHCS in the microbiology/molecular department for the Roche 6800 instrument. These tests are for HCV, HIV, HBV, CMV, CT/NG, HPV, SARS-CoV-2, SARS-CoV-2/Flu PCR testing and must be compatible with the Roche 6800. The procurement is on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Regional Procurement Office West (RPOW), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, on behalf of Portland VAMC. As a result, vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the items identified to be eligible for participation with this acquisition. Vendor must be able to provide the documentation that demonstrates such aforementioned authority. The solicitation for this action will be posted to sam.gov and all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. After consideration, the Government will determine whether to proceed with the sole source acquisition. Please keep in mind that patient care and choice in the decision is the highest priority to the VA. The solicitation will be posted on or about July 14, 2023.
