- Solicitation # - W91ZLK-23-Q-0039 The US Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) requires the purchase of a horizontal wet bench magnetic particle inspection station of one (1) Each. This Equipment will be utilized to conduct magnetic particle inspections for weapon systems and weapon system components going through proof acceptance testing as well as various other non-weapon components being subjected to testing at ATC. The following is the buy list: Required magnetic particle horizontal wet bench specifications: QTY: 1ea � Produce 6000 amperes of three phase FWDC � Head opening to allow inspection of parts to 100 inches of length � Unit to be equipped with a 25-inch diameter magnetizing coil � Unit to be equipped with a with an auxiliary output with cables to allow inspection with central conductor � Unit to be capable of reversing FWDC demagnetization � The contacts and coil outputs are independently controlled � Current output setting and selector switches shall be physical dials or switches. � Unit to have custom designed steady rest to allow inspection of mortar tubes � Unit to include a hood assembly with exhaust fan and white light � Unit hood shall be equipped with a hood assist feature that pneumatically raises and lowers the hood. � Unit to include 2ea REL UV-3000NC LED ultraviolet lights with visible light capability � Unit to include 20 ampere convivence outlets � The MPI unit will have a single point connection requiring 240V, three phase, 60 hertz, and an airline requiring 80-100 psi. Each hook up will be clearly marked and meet industry requirements. � The MPI unit will be shipped via truck to B525 at ATC. ATC will be responsible for unloading and placement of equipment. ATC will verify electrical and air connections. � The (1) 55-gallon drums of Magnaflux Carrier II will be shipped via truck to ATC. This item is commonly sent to ATC. ATC is responsible for unloading the drum and placing it at the MPI unit. SEL will deliver (1) Magnaflux 14A Magnetic Particles, one pound container. This item will be hand delivered at time of set-up. � The vendor is responsible to make minor adjustments to level the equipment and for final calibration once machine is set up. The vendor is not responsible for renovations or modifications to the existing floor to level the equipment. The equipment does not need to be mounted to the floor. � ATC reserves the right to inspect equipment for compliance with specifications and complete operation as designed before shipping to ATC and after installation. � ATC requires a three-year warranty for parts and labor. Combined/Synopsis This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-06 effective 12 July 2021. The synopsis/ solicitation number is W91ZLK-23-Q-0039 for the purchase of Analog Isolation Module. This requirement is being solicited as 100 % Small Business Set Aside under NAICS Code 334516-Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The Government contemplates an award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer. Description of Requirements: Please refer to the attached Purchase Description. Technical Evaluation: The Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price contract to the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) proposal, in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. Technical acceptability will be based on a proposal that meets all the requirements stated in the Purchase Description.
