- Description
- The primary objective of this requirement is to develop and verify a point-of-care device for detection of both antigen and antibody biomarkers of Ebola, Lassa, and Marburg virus utilizing Cornell Universitys patented FeverPhone technology. To date, there are no multiplexed protein detection assays for the point-of-care that target a panel of hemorrhagic fever viruses. Preliminary work by Cornell University on a separate funded effort for tropical fever virus multiplexed detection (Dengue and Chikungunya) has resulted in data demonstrating that their proprietary technology/concepts work for point-of-care detection of antigens and antibodies from viral infection.
