Description
THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE An Invitation for Bids POSTED ON OR ABOUT 7/28/2023. The Amarillo Texas Veterans Affairs Healthcare Center System (VAHCS) Amarillo Texas currently has a requirement for a project to Repair Site Roads and Parking Lots under solicitation 36C257-23-B-0046. The project requires road repairs and parking lots around the campus at the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center: The Contractor shall provide all equipment, construction services, labor, materials, supervision, supplies, and tools and supervision for the project. Work shall include: The base bid of the project will include all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required work on this project. This work will be for the roads and parking lots labeled BASE BID on the project drawings. This work will include but not limited to the removal of the existing asphalt material, reworking, and compacting the base material, the installation of a 2 asphalt, or a 6 concrete road or parking lot, and other work as shown on the drawings and specifications. Add alternate #1 of the project will include all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required work on this project. This work will be for the roads and parking lots labeled BID ALTERNATE 1 on the project drawings. This work will include but not limited to the removal of the existing asphalt material, reworking, and compacting the base material, the installation of a 2 asphalt, or a 6 concrete road or parking lot, and other work as shown on the drawings and specifications. Add alternate #2 of the project will include all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required work on this project. This work will be for the roads and parking lots labeled BID ALTERNATE 2 on the project drawings. In Lieu of the 2"" asphalt re-pave, the contractor will need to pressure wash, clean out all cracks of debris and weeds, fill and patch all potholes, crack seal, and seal coat the entire parking lot. The contractor will re-stripe the entire parking lot. All other work as shown on the drawings and specifications. Add alternate #3 of the project will include all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required work on this project. This work will be for the roads and parking lots labeled BID ALTERNATE 3 on the project drawings. This work will include but not limited to pressure washing, and clean out all cracks of debris and weeds, fill and patch all potholes, crack seal, and seal coat the entire parking lot. All other work as shown on the drawings and specifications. Add alternate #4 of the project will include all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required work on this project. This work will be for the roads and parking lots labeled BID ALTERNATE 4 on the project drawings. This work will include but not limited to re-striping the entire main loop road of the Amarillo campus. All other work as shown on the drawings and specifications. Add Alternates Priority Add Alternates can be accepted in any order regardless of price. More detailed descriptions of the scope of work activities will be provided upon issuance of the IFB. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237310 with a small business size standard of $45,000,000.00. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000 .00In Accordance With (IAW) Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations (VAAR) 836.204(f)(1). This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, as stated below. The POC for this project will be Horacio Fernandez. Important Notice: Apparent successful bid must apply for and receive verification from the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) in accordance with 38 CFR Part 74 and VAAR 819.70 by submission of documentation of Veteran status, ownership, and control sufficient to establish appropriate status, offerors must be both VISIBLE and VERIFIED by the Department of Veteran Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprises prior to submission of offer. Failure to be both VERIFIED by CVE and VISIBLE on VetCert prior to submission of offer will result in the offeror s proposal being deemed non-responsive. All offerors are urged to contact the CVE and submit the required documents to obtain CVE verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
