- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No formal solicitation for this work exists at this time. This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. The responses to this sources sought will be used as market research to determine the overall procurement strategy. All interested concerns may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the quantity and availability of contractors who can perform the work required. Based upon the responses to this sources sought and capability statements, the Government may determine to set this acquisition aside, proceed with an unrestricted solicitation, or decide on alternative procurement strategy. The contemplated solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Basin has a requirement to replace the complete Facility Management Control Motion Engineering System. The complete system includes monitoring PCs, Software, and configuration installation to replace the obsolete version. Reclamation currently uses MCE software for monitoring the Lower Colorado Dams elevators including Parker Dam. The Motion Control Engineering software provides monitoring features for elevators, showing models, locations, and elevator status. The software will provide the engineers the ability to monitor the status of all the elevators from a single location as well as providing a reporting feature. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed purchase order. Interested contractors who can meet the requirements stated above should respond through submission of a capability statement. E-mail responses are required. The due date for responses to this Sources Sought is 4:00 pm Pacific Standard Time on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Respondents should include as part of their submission: Submit a capability statement which demonstrates the capability to furnish and perform the work, 10 page limit for the capability statement. Include certifications/accreditations, comparable work projects with other Federal Agencies and/or commercial businesses for similar size and scope as stated above; and items listed below. a. Unique Entity ID Number (UEI) b. Company Name c. Company Address e. Business size as validated via the System for Award Administration (SAM). To be considered for award, Offerors must register on the SAM located at http://www.sam.gov. e. Company points of contact, phone number, and email address. f. Comparable projects should be within the past five years, minimum 2 projects and maximum of 4. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334111 Electronic Computer Manufacturing, size standard of 1250 employees which is applicable to this acquisition. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications and in conjunction with FAR 4.11, are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time an offer or quotation is submitted.
