- Description
- This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR 5.203 in response to the mandatory requirement for a 15-day notification. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Government's intent to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract with Thrillworks, Inc., located at 1391 Flat Creek Road, Athens, Texas, United States. The Army National Guard will be requiring services for mobile rock wall maintenance to occur one time per year, annually on the 20th day of August. The contractor may be required to travel to offsite locations if a mobile rock wall cannot be moved to the inspections site due to equipment failure of a mobile rock wall that prevents it from being moved. The contractor shall maintain an adequate work force for the uninterrupted performance of all tasks defined within this SOW. The Contractor shall provide all equipment necessary for the inspection and maintenance of the mobile rock walls. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and quality control necessary, except for the necessary workspace for the contractor to perform yearly service and inspection of four mobile walls, as defined in this SOW. The Period of Performance shall be one (1) Base Year of 12 months and four (4) 12-month option years. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Thrillworks, Inc., per FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i), as the manufacturer of the rock walls, no other company can perform warranted maintenance. The NAICS for this acquisition is 811490, PSC J023. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations.
