- 518-21-103 Women's Health 3 Floors Construction, Bedford VAMC, MA Procurement Number: 36C24123B0002 This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation satisfying the requirements of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. An invitation for bids will be posted on or about March 1, 2023. The Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital VAMC located in Bedford, MA has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price construction contract that requires a general contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform work under the 518-21-103 Women's Health 3 Floors Construction project in accordance with the Contract Documents, including Technical Specifications and Drawing, and attached SOW. The general scope of the requirement is to construct new reception area, locker rooms, offices, conference/lounge, exam rooms, procedure rooms, conference room, bathrooms, installing an elevator, installing a ramp, and removing and replacing all mechanical, plumbing, electrical and lighting systems. The sidewalk and parking lot shall also be modified to accommodate the building additions and changes and a complete replacement of entire slate roof. The magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 and the size standard is $45 Million. The solicitation is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under FAR Part 14. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
