- DLA Aviation intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to General Electric Company, CAGE 99207, via a letter Request for Proposal (RFP). A copy of the solicitation will not be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board Systems (DIBBS). If any non-OEM source is interested in any of the NSNs, please notify the Contracting Officer prior to the synopsis closing date.� Surplus dealers are also invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, Procurement Note C04, Government Surplus Material or adequate traceability documentation to show that the product is acceptable. (Note:� Other Aviation sites will provide their equivalent surplus clause, as applicable).�Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified.� In addition, respondents should identify the quantity available and price.� A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein and SBA PCR (tammy.birdsong@sba.gov).�The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. This proposed action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Defense Logistics Acquisition Directive (DLAD). The associated NAICS code is 336412. The government intends to add these parts to the current GE T64 COI Contract, SPE4AX-19-D-9400. See attached list for complete listing of items being added. �All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. GE is currently the only qualified source who can manufacture these parts. The Government does not have the rights to these parts, manufacturing, production, or process data. This information is proprietary to GE. Specifications, plans, or drawings related to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. ANY RESULTING SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED TO SAM.GOV ONLY. INDIVIDUAL REQUESTS WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE AS SAM.GOV IS A PUBLIC ACCESS DOMAIN.
